Our Mission

To enhance the well-being of youth, seniors, and newcomers/refugees by providing inclusive, culturally responsive programs that address systemic barriers, promote social inclusion, and foster socio-economic empowerment. We are committed to combating discrimination, with a particular focus on anti-Black racism, and to creating opportunities that uplift marginalized communities.

Vision

We envision a diverse and inclusive society where youth, seniors, and newcomers/refugees are empowered to thrive, free from systemic inequities and discrimination. Our vision is a future where all individuals, particularly those from historically marginalized and racialized communities, including Black communities, have the opportunity to overcome social and economic barriers. Together, we aim to build a just, equitable society where everyone is valued, respected, and able to contribute to a collective prosperity.

Goal

  1. Support Social and Economic Empowerment

Provide tailored services for youth, seniors, and newcomers/refugees that promote mental well-being, social inclusion, and access to economic opportunities.

Offer culturally relevant support services that address the unique challenges faced by marginalized groups, including credential recognition, job readiness, and community integration

  1. Combat Systemic Discrimination

Develop and deliver programs that address systemic barriers and discrimination faced by all communities, with a focus on tackling anti-Black racism as part of broader equity initiatives.

Provide advocacy, and mental health services to help individuals, especially those from underrepresented groups, navigate and challenge systemic inequities

  1. Empower Black Youth

Establish leadership and mentorship programs aimed at empowering Black youth, helping them overcome the compounded effects of racial discrimination in education, employment, and civic engagement.

Ensure Black youth have access to resources, networks, and role models that promote career advancement, mental health, and personal development

  1. Foster Community Resilience

Create safe and inclusive spaces where youth, seniors, and newcomers/refugees from all backgrounds can share experiences, reduce social isolation, and access culturally appropriate care[1]
